My ‘husband’ Mark fills my soul with peace and joy. We both spent too much of our lives living with bad choices and painful realities. We found eachother late in life and because of that we have this deep, abiding bond that makes sure our priorities align and we cherish eachother, and our love. Our life is not rich or glamorous but it is real and it is full of joy, pleasure, strength, kinship and faith. Without him I would be less of a human being and less of a woman. With him I able to be more alive, and able to love myself.
My daughter Gracie has been my pal going on 18 years. She is going off to college in August. I know that her ability to fly is partially because I have given her the security at home to be able to grow her wings. But, I am going to miss my perfect pal!
I make a perfect pair with my son. He’s still my little mr. boot. Even though he’s a teenager now, We still have a strong mom and son bond. We can talk about anything and he can come to me and ask me anything he has concerns about. I’m open to discuss anything with him so I don’t feel like I’m keeping him away from good or bad issues. I don’t want to hold tight so when it’s time to see things in the world for himself, he won’t be surprised. I have already given him the scoop on what to watch for.
My husband of 26 years, we got married after only
knowing each other 6 weeks and he is still my
true love and bestfriend
My husband Marty is a great pair with me because he is strong in the areas I’m weaker in and I’m strong in areas he’s weak in. I know it sounds cliche, but it’s true. God made him my perfect soul mate! We’ve been married 13 years and still going strong.
My son Robert and I make the perfect pair. I was just a kid when I had him, so I grew up raising him. Luckily, I had the right instincts and a hard work ethic with a huge love for him, and he grew up into a well-respected adult. He went into the Navy as I couldn’t afford the college tuition and books, & was happy to do it. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and another year in Reservists. I’m very proud of him, we’ve always been able to talk openly and love doing things together.
