- Legend has it that Raikou, Entei and Suicune perished in a fire, rumour suggests they have been somehow brought back and you may encounter them on your travels.
- The game comes with a brand new accessory the Pokewalker, a pedometer that is exclusively packaged with Pokemon HeartGold Version and the Pokemon SoulSilver Version.
- The Pokewalker works with the game through an infrared connection and allows you to transfer any one of your Pokemon from one of the two games, to the Pokewalker and thus continuing the adventure in the real world.
